If you have planned a few days of vacation in Quebec and want to complete your list of essentials, here are some activity suggestions that will help you make the most of your stay at Travelodge Quebec during the month of June.

Do not forget: until June 8th,  International Theater Crossroads invites you to discover Old Quebec differently thanks to the free festival “Where do you go when you sleep while walking …? “. More than 500 artists and artisans participate in an outdoor show, near Saint-Jean Street, to offer an immersive experience out of the ordinary.

Also in Old Quebec, do not miss Folk Expression Festival, which is the musical part of the Parcours des Terrasses Gourmandes taking place on June 15th. To celebrate the opening of Old Quebec terraces, more than fifteen local restaurants will create bites exclusively for the event, inspired by their culinary specialties. This year, guests will be able to take a walk, glass in hand in some pedestrian spaces reserved for this purpose for the occasion. Do not miss it!

The 7th edition of Rickard’s BBQ Fest will take place from June 15 to 17th, at Espace 400e du Vieux-Port. This family-oriented event will allow you to visit more than 50 exhibitors, discover local products, listen to songwriters and enjoy the warm weather.

The same weekend, June 16 and 17, the Garden Art Festival will amaze horticulture enthusiasts. This family celebration takes place at the very impressive Parc de la Chute-Montmorency, an 18-minute drive from the hotel.

Also taking place at the Parc de la Chute-Montmorency, on June 23 and 24, it will be the 22nd edition of the Gala des belles autos d’hier turn to charm you. For the occasion, more than 1600 cars and old vehicles will be exposed, for the pleasure of the older ones, while the little ones will be able to enjoy the family play stop. And, do not forget: it’s Saint-Jean-Baptiste, the biggest weekend of the year in Quebec City! Do not miss it.

In Quebec City, Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day is celebrated on the afternoon of June 23rd, on the Plains of Abraham! The next day, June 24, several neighbourhoods hold their own community party with songs, family activities, street food and fireworks. We invite you to visit the Quebec National Day website for more details.

To end the month of June properly, from June 29 to July 1, the Wendake Indian Reserve invites you to its annual international Pow Wow, where you will have the pleasure of discovering many facets of First Nations life. A change of scenery guaranteed within 20 minutes of Travelodge Quebec!
